For a long time now, the winemakers have wanted to hold a gastronomic event which would allow them to reveal their wines in the best possible way. From September 2008, this will be an annual event.
This first year, Sylvain Trouillard, the chef at the Orangerie restaurant, and Jean Michel Monnier, the oenologist, have devised an evening of food and wines in harmony. For each course, 2 dishes and 2 wines will be served to you simultaneously, and Jean Michel Monnier will explain the combinations, some of which will surprise even the most adventurous wine lovers. To add to your enjoyment, the evening will be accompanied by a jazz band.
